In March 2008, my family and I received news that would forever change our lives.  We learned that my son Dante’ was diagnosed with a rare form of nasal cancer at the age of 24.  A year later the young man who was so compassionate and kind to so many was gone. 

After his passing we found out that Dante’ elected to be an organ and bone marrow donor.  A month later we were notified that his eyes allowed two people the gift of sight.  Since then so many young people have come forth to tell us how he had made a impact in their lives, by giving them shelter when needed, money when he had it, and the encouragement to follow their dreams.

While Dante’ underwent chemo he always had some type of electronic device in his hands so when I read that Kilian's Kids was raising money for children in the midst of fighting cancer, I just knew I had to get involved.
